I'll have you know I have consumed an unbelievable amount of new music in the past week in an effort to get out from behind, and at least pull level with the influx of CDs (sent both physically and digitally to me) over the past few weeks. There is no way to fully review ALL of them, so expect another round-up in a few days, as well as the usual longer thought pieces at donewaiting, or disc review/show preview I usually do at Chicagoist.I will say that while I haven't run across anything that stolen my heart, I'm really impressed by the quality of the music that's been coming out this year. Mostly.
