The Fire And The Reason are yet another NYC dance rock band with a pouty, sneery female singer. Luckily I'm a sucker for that sort of thing. Their debut EP is available as a free download, so you really can't go wrong with that. A word of warning though, if severely polished pop aimed equally for the dance floor and the radio is not your thing you should not give this a listen.
Sure, it's obvious, and almost sounds as if it was written after a dozen rounds of consumer testing, but fuck it, it's fun.
